Since 2015, Super Soul has been an active participant and sponsor for the yearly art show Rules and Play . Initially hosted at the Livery, Rules and Play made the move to The Living Arts and Science Center where it became a staple of the summer schedule.

The gallery show is a curated exhibition of games from an international collection of artists as well as local designers, culminating in an entirely local show in 2019 that focused on themes of light and interactivity. Projectors created large screens in the historic gallery, creating play spaces for artists to create in to make alien worlds or visualizers for the music of local bands.

In tandem with the physical show, Super Soul employees also taught classes as a part of the Living Arts and Science Center summer educational program on topics like virtual reality and interactive fiction.

Rules and Play is on indefinite hiatus due to the pandemic.
